Known for her dedication to her craft, Disha has taken on a variety of challenging roles over the years. In 2023, she made her Tamil film debut with Kanguva, starring alongside Suriya. She even described the opportunity as her “lucky break.” Directed by Siva, the film revolves around Francis Theodore, a bounty hunter in 2024, whose mysterious connection to a tribal warrior in 1070 unfolds in an epic tale.

Despite her immense popularity and social media presence, where she stuns fans with glamorous posts, Disha revealed in an interview that she finds it difficult to watch herself onscreen. Speaking with Sidharth Kannan in an interview (via Hindustan Times), she was asked, “There is a perception that Disha Patani is perfect—whether in looks or otherwise. What do you think when you watch yourself onscreen?”

To this, Disha candidly responded, “I don’t like watching myself. I actually hate it because mujhe kuch achha nahi lagta hai (I don’t like anything about it). Whenever I watch my films, half of the time I cover my eyes with my hands.”
